Once you have your website ready, it is time to optimise it so that it is indexed by the search engines and drives more traffic to the site. This is done through the use of certain keywords sprinkled throughout your website and is called search engine optimisation. It is made out to be an arcane art and several books about it have been written, but in reality any one with a site on a free web host can learn it. The first step in search engine optimisation is choosing a name that the search engines easily index. Once chosen, this name can be checked for availability and registered with your web hosting.
The next few steps are also easy. Use the keywords that describe the content of your business website quite frequently. This might be difficult initially, but will become natural with practice. The density of the keywords is also important, too much use may index well at the search engine but drive out the visitors. Secondly, online search engine index HTML and text better than other content. So keeping your website HTML and text friendly until it becomes popular or keeping Flash and other content to a minimum is a good idea.

HostMonster has been in the business of web hosting for a really long time, since 1996. This alone should speak volumes on their reliability. Some of the features they offer are unlimited webhosting space & traffic, hosting unlimited domains on one Account, 2,500 POP/Imap email accounts web hosting and support for SSH, SSL, CGI, Ruby (RoR), Perl, PHP, MySQL. A new feature they have added only recently is the site builder, though other web hosting providers have had it for a long time.
Setting up a website using HostMonster is relatively easy as they offer simple one-click installation scripts. Transferring a domain from another host or registering a new host is also easy, as is to be expected from a web host that has been around for a long time. One difference is that you can host unlimited domains in a single account. Other features offered include FTP accounts and Yahoo! and Google credits upon signing up.
Despite being in the web hosting business for a long time, HostMonster could improve on their customer support and their over sensitive policy on spyware. Sites get shutdown at the merest hint of spyware or malware. Though they may not be the best web host around, they are a great hosting provider
